From the app ranking of France, we can see that the total number of download on Jan 9, is much less than on Jan 8. However, the ranking was up. That means, the ranking calculation is also based on total downloads on past few days, with a slightly higher factor on more recent download figure.

The daily total download figure never reach 0, but most regional App Stores have no ranking now.

The in-app purchase ratio, which is US $0.99 to remove ad, is about 1% of the download figures.

The ranking formula is also included rating and comment by the user. Although iSelfie was test over 200+ times, the initial 1.0 version was still sometimes crash, due to low memory when saving the photo. The angry users left with 1 star rating and bad comment, even iSelfie is a free app. After version 1.1 released, no more complaint, but angry users will not come back to rate the app again!
